Mutual exchange allows social housing tenants from across the UK to swap homes with each other to help find the perfect home.
Exchanging your home
‘House Exchange’ is a free service for you if are thinking of exchanging your home. You can use the House Exchange website to find properties or advertise your own.
We consider applications from tenants who wish to mutually exchange their accommodation with:
- Another Saffron tenant
- A local authority tenant
- Another housing association tenant
To register on the House Exchange website click here.
When you have found a person to exchange with, each household will need to complete a Mutual Exchange Application Form by clicking here. You can then return it by either:
- Email to info@saffronhousing.co.uk.
- Post to Saffron Housing Trust, Saffron Barn, Swan Lane, Long Stratton, Norfolk, NR15 2XP.
Once we have received the forms from all parties, we will review the applications and advise you within 42 days as to whether or not the exchange can proceed.
