Having an apprenticeship will enable you to:

  • Learn and train for a specific job / business area / trade
  • Be in paid employment (you earn whilst you learn)
  • Receive all employee benefits
  • Undertake a nationally recognised qualification 
  • Be supported throughout your apprenticeship journey
  • Study for 6 hours of your working week via assessor visits, day and block release training, according to course requirements
  • Gain valuable job specific skills, experience and knowledge to kick start your career!

To become an apprentice you must:

  • Be 16 or over (there is no upper age limit)
  • Not be in full time education
  • Live in England

You can start an apprenticeship if you are:
