In partnership with Norfolk County Council, NorseCare and RG Carter our new independent living scheme, supported by Homes England, will include 58 new affordable apartments. 41 of these apartments will be affordable rent, allowing people aged over 55 with care needs to live independently.
On-site care and support will be available 24/7, giving tenants and their families peace of mind that support is close to hand if needed.
The remaining 17 apartments will be available to purchase through Shared Ownership. You don’t need to have a care need to purchase one of these apartments, allowing you to take full advantage of all the benefits the scheme provides.
The scheme, consisting of one and two-bedroom self-contained apartments, will allow tenants aged over 55 to maintain independence for longer. With the inclusion of communal spaces such as a lounge, activity room, hair salon and outside areas, residents will be able to remain active in the community.
The development is due to complete in Acle next Autumn and will not only much create needed housing but also enhance the appearance of the local area
