Tenancy Audits
This is a home inspection carried out by a Neighbourhood Officer to check the information we hold on who is living in the property is accurate and up to date.
During the visit we will ask to see photo ID (such as a passport or driving license) from anyone living in the home over the age of 18. This is to comply with Law and to help us identify housing fraud. Please have this ready where you can before the visit.
During the visit we may ask to take some photographs of your home.
The Tenancy Audit, which lasts around 20-30 minutes, will do a number of things:
- Help with future planning of services that meet tenants needs
- Identify any people who may need to be re-housed if there are too many or too few people living in a property
- Uncover any fraud
- Signpost people to other services that are available
- Identify any issues with the condition of the property
