Your Charges
You will receive a letter notifying you of the 2025-2026 charges between Wednesday 19th February and Friday 28th February 2025.
If you rent a :
- garage you are charged weekly, and the 2025-2026 charges have increased by 2.7% (September CPI+1%).
- parking bay, garage plot or garden plot you are charged annually, and the 2025-2026 charges have increased by 2.7% (September CPI+1%).
- home you are charged a weekly rent, and the 2025-2026 rent has increased by 2.7% (September CPI+1%). You may also be charged service charges and/or a personal charges.
If you are a Homeowner:
- Shared Owners and HOLD property owners are charged a monthly rent is increasing as per the terms of your lease. You may also be charged a service charges and/or a personal charges.
- Leaseholders and Equity Share property owners are charged annually for service charges and/or personal charges.
- Freeholders who receive services from Saffron Housing Trust are charged annually for the estate charge.
Service Charges/Personal Charges
- Service charges are an amount charged for communal or shared services to a building, scheme, estate, or surrounding area and are usually Housing Benefit/Universal credit eligible.
- Personal charges are for services provided to your individual property for things such as heating your individual home or for wellbeing services in our independent community living schemes. These charges are not Housing Benefit/Universal credit eligible.
