Working at Saffron

We want our people to be happy, empowered, motivated and feel proud to be part of the Saffron Community. We know by having great people we can deliver a great service for our tenants.

We trust our staff to do the right thing and we are looking for people whose values are aligned with ours, PACE:

We aspire to provide development opportunities to our staff enabling them to flourish and build on their skills and capabilities.  We strive to provide our staff with opportunities to gain relevant professional qualifications and experience to grow and develop.

We work with and support our staff to work in an agile way to provide flexibility as well as a work/life balance. Where the role allows, there is the choice of where you work, such as, in the office, work from home, a coffee shop, park, or a combination of all.

From application to interview, we place inclusion at the heart of all we do. We aspire to have a diverse and inclusive workplace and ensure that those from underrepresented groups receive a fair process when applying to work at Saffron. When recruiting for senior positions we guarantee an interview for a female and one person from an underrepresented group.

We are delighted to have made it onto 3 of the Best Companies to Work For lists! Our staff completed the Best Companies b-Heard survey, and their feedback means we are proud to have achieved:

  • 46th in the national list = ‘Top 50 Best Large Companies’ to work for
  • 17th in the regional list = ‘East of England’s top 25’ companies to work for
