Coronavirus update 5th Jan 22

Published: 5th January 2022

The Government currently has their Plan B in place in response to the Omicron variant of coronavirus. No new measures have been announced at this stage for England.

We are not making any changes to our frontline services but continue to have measures in place to keep you and our staff as safe as we possibly can.

We are encouraging our staff to wear appropriate PPE and face coverings and maintain a 2-metre distance from you when visiting your home.

We would be grateful if you could also wear a face covering, if you feel comfortable in doing so, and maintain a distance of 2 metres from our staff.

It is important for us to be made aware of any of our tenants self-isolating/have tested positive, so we don’t put our tenants or staff at unnecessary risk and reduce any potential spread of the virus. By being made aware of any tenants self-isolating we can also plan our services. If you are self-isolating, please contact our Customer Contact Team on 01508 532000.

We continue to monitor the situation closely and will keep you updated. If the number of cases of COVID-19 continues to rise impacting on our staffing numbers, we may need to make changes to the level of service we can offer.
